From food recovery to preventing risk of hunger in children

Every child should have an opportunity to succeed

All Good Living Foundation believes that children who are nourished and clothed do better in school. An initiative of All Good Living Foundation, our Do-Good Community Closets are located in sixteen Bay Area schools and provide free clothing, supplies, food, and household items to students, their families, and staff. Partnering with major donors and schools, AGL Foundation gathers donations and ensures that they are delivered to students and families in need.

AGL Foundation’s work is rooted in the belief that basic necessities are a basic right of families.

Do Good Community Closet

We believe that everyone should have access to basic necessities, regardless of their financial situation.

Our community closets are filled with clothing donated by members of the community. We have a team of volunteers who help organize and maintain the closets so that students and staff can easily access what they need. Our organization is constantly working towards expanding to other areas in order to reach more people in need.

The Do Good Community Closets not only provide free clothing but also promote sustainability and reduce waste. By donating and using pre-loved clothing, we are helping to reduce the amount of textile waste that ends up in landfills. This not only benefits the environment but also those who may not have the means to purchase new clothing.

We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community and believe that access to free clothing and other necessities should be a basic right for all individuals. We hope to continue expanding our reach and helping those in need in other areas as well. Together, we can make a difference and create a more inclusive and sustainable society. So, we encourage everyone to get involved by donating or volunteering. Let's do good together! So join us on this mission to spread kindness. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of students and staff in our community.

  • I work at one of the schools that houses a Do Good Community Closet, and I can tell you just how helpful it's been personally. Money can be tight, and I've had to make some sacrifices; when I discovered we have a community closet open to school staff, I regained a little hope. Thank you to All Good Living Foundation and their Do Good Community Closets!
