These are unprecedented times for most of us. The world is facing a common enemy right now, and we must stick together as a community to get through this. We are partnering with the school districts in locating families who need essentials during this Stay In Place order. We've always been eager to help the families of our communities who need it the most, those in severe financial crisis, and those facing homelessness. While most of us were able to get to the stores and grab a few things, we know these families are struggling even more now. We have been collecting donations to buy essentials for needy families in the Alameda, Oakland, and Mt. Diablo school districts.
If you can help us help them, we would greatly appreciate it. We'd also like to take this time to thank the Alameda Police Department, Mr. Espresso Coffee, Target, the Roizen Family, and all of you kind people who have already donated! We have strength in numbers! We can pull through this if we help each other by staying home, washing hands, and lending a hand when possible.
